Scientific materials sent to the editorial office are subject to a double-blind review, documented by a completed reviewer card. Reviewers of the journal are Bulgarian and foreign scholars, experts in the relevant scientific subject. The peer review process is based on the principle of two-way anonymity, where the reviewers and the author of the article remain anonymous to each other. The final decision to publish a given piece is taken by the editorial board after taking into account the evaluations and recommendations of the reviewers, the leading criteria being the importance of the text for the development of scientific knowledge and its academic contribution to the scientific field.
